Adult Choir
Aylesford church choir stretches back to at least 1865, the year our church organ was built. Over all those years, it has reflected the wider trend in parish church choirs, growing to over 40 members by the 1980s, although it is now considerably smaller.
The main role of the choir is to lead the music of sung services, especially the hymns. What we lack in numbers is compensated for by enthusiasm, and we would be very happy for you to join us – you don’t have to be able to read music to sing well ! We usually meet on Thursday evenings and, of course, Sunday mornings, but not at the moment. We'll update these music pages when we're able to gather again.
